DIALOGUE HIÉRATIQUE POUR DEUX CATHÉDRALES PERDUES DANS L' ESPACE
Seven Perceptions of the Interstellar Universe
for One or Two Organs
This work immerses us in the surreal atmosphere of a cataclysm that would have shattered our planet Earth into a multitude of fragments scattered in space. On two of them, the vestiges of a cathedral remain and each of them communicates with the other through its organs, evoking the mysteries of our Universe. This score was played for two organs by Jeanne Joulain and Antoine Drizenko at the Saint-Maurice church in Lille.

IN MEMORIAM TITANIC
The title of this work leads us unequivocally into the narration of a very specific story, that of the tragedy of April 15, 1912, in the Atlantic Ocean. Unlike Joseph Bonnet’s work with the same title, this is not a meditation, but descriptive music. We find without difficulty the successive scenes of an evening in gleaming luxury, of deep sleep which gradually wins over everyone, of dead calm interrupted by growing anxiety, of disaster, of panic and finally of engulfment in a sea which regains its nocturnal calm after having digested its prey.

TROIS MINIATURES
Unlike the other organ works on this page, this one does not require a large organ. It can be played on an instrument with only two manuals and a limited number of stops. Even if this instrument were to be of baroque aesthetics, but of equal temperament, the usual character and style of my compositions would not be altered.
